| Abstract Texture Series, 2007

I have a new textile art screenprint listed at my Etsy shop.
This design is an Abstract Texture Art Screenprint in a Saffron Orange Red Purple Colourway,
printed on Vintage Acetate Taffetta.
It is from my Abstract Texture Series, 2007.
This Abstract Texture Series of textile prints was inspired by a textile knit lace fabric, of my design, which I experimented with by scanning, distorting and scaling up the textured lace knit until it was an abstract image.
To further enhance the textural effect, I have used a puff/flock effect pigment,
with regular printing pigment to add depth to the design.
My artwork has been included in an Etsy treasury list called Magic Purple.
This brown hand dyed and knitted scarf has buttons added so you can drape your scarf to your own style. 
This scarf will keep you warm and cosy all winter and add a pink blush to your cheeks.
My Hand Made Pink knitted scarf has been treasury listed on Etsy, which is a lovely surprise but especially so this time because the treasury list "The Handmade Garden" is by "rhubarb in the garden"; one of my favorite tumblr blogs. Also, "rhubarb in the garden" has a blogger blog as well as their etsy shop. 
I made this hand knitted scarf from home grown, hand spun and hand dyed yarn produced "on the farm" by a local regional yarn artisan in Victoria, Australia.
